Fireworks

Well, I went to my Aunt Peggy's yesterday, it was the fourth of July btw, and we got to eat lots of food. But they have a pond with a paddle boat, and my sis wanted me to ride in it with her. After much begging, I finally told her "sure" and we headed for the small stretch of sand. The boat was right on the other side, but in between were swarm of sand bees, or whatever you call them. First of all, I wasn't wearing my swim suit unlike my sister, and she told me "Run across t the boat, you have less skin showing!" and of course my answer to that was "NO WAY!?" (but I didn't really shout it....) and I walked away. So then she tried jumping off the dock!? But before that, she was trying to dip her toe in the water to test the temp. Of course her sandle falls into the water and I had a vague memory of her losing her sandle in our own creek. So I "shouted" to her, "Just jump in!? Do you want me to push you?" Yeah, all very interesting... It was kinda funny when the kid who was afraid of water wanted to get in though..... We didn't stay to watch the fireworks there cause my brother said he had to get 3 more hours of work in. But the up was I got to go and meet Meagan at the soccer field to watch them! Our fireworks are never very good, but oh well.
