Band Camp

On Monday, I started band camp. Where I'm learning to march and stuff. I guess I've finally made it to the marching band. I always thought they looked really cool out on field. Playing and marching is harder than I thought. It would be more fun if any of my friends were in band though. Kinda makes me wish I was in orchestra. Plus, when I go to foot ball games, I won't have anybody to hang out with. Nobody goes to the games for the foot ball team anyways, they go for the band. Tomorrow I get my uniform, which I've been waiting for for a long time. I might have been able to play with the orchestra, if I was good. They only have two spaces open, and that'll probably be taken by the upper classmates. I never said I was the best in the freshmen either, I'm not even third chair. But, I don't think this one kid decided to go through with it, so you never know. Not that I won't try, but I really highly doubt I'll be able to. My brother played in the band and orchestra, I guess back then I was looking for an easy way through, and stringed instruments didn't seem to be the answer. I thought percussion would be easier, but I was proved wrong, so I ended up with my brother's old trumpet(tuba xP), and it only had three keys, so I thought, why not!? But, I kinda regret not considering trying a stringed instrument. At least I would have friends there. All my summer camps have been at the high school, I feel like I already started school!? Sort of helpful, I guess.
